Aruthasa Trail Mix

Ingredients:
3 Tbl palm shortening
1 Tbl brown sugar
1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp ground ginger
2 Tbl coconut shred
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup golden raisins
2 Tbl olive oil
1 cup granola
1 cup banana chips

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325F
2. Mix all the items together EXCEPT the granola and banana chips
3. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet, preferably with sides
4. Bake for 6 minutes,
5. Toss on the baking sheet.
6. Bake for another 4 minute.
7. Allow to cool and then add the granola nad banan chips to the mixture.

This is an amazing trail mix for hiking as it is high in calories and energy! It’s named after the trail my friends and I hiked while eating this!
