Matcha White Chocolate Chip Cookies

6 Tbl butter, softened at room temperature
1 egg
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 Tbl matcha powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup white chocolate chips

1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. Cream the butter and egg.
3. Add the granulated sugar. Then add the brown sugar once mixed.
4. Add the vanilla.
5. Sift the flour, matcha powder, salt and baking soda together before adding to the creamed ingredients.
6. Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl. Mix until nearly combined.
7. Add the white chocolate chips.
8. Make golf ball sized rounds out of the dough and place evenly apart on a baking sheet.
9. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
10. Allow to cool on a rack before enjoying!

Optional: 1/3 cup of macadamia nuts
