2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 pinch salt and pepper
2 pounds fresh shrimp
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the oil.
- Test the hotness of the oil by adding a piece of shrimp tail. If the tail sizzles, add the rest of the shrimp.
- Stir occasionally and cook for about 5 minutes.
- Plate, add salt and pepper.
This is part of a 4-course meal. This shrimp is an appetizer and you follow it with the poached fish or acqua pazza then the fresh pasta with seafood. Finally, dessert is the no-bake tiramisu. While my friends and I were making this meal with the chef in Italy, we jokingly called it our seduction dinner. It’s a lot of love and work to make pasta from scratch and source fresh seafood.
